Has anyone considered the possibility that the junction where the stylomastoid foramen lies could hold secrets to understanding deeper emotional processes? Given the foramen's proximity to facial nerves, might there be an undiscussed correlation between its physiological characteristics and our capacity for emotional expression and recognition?
