Can we talk about how useless some "inspections" actually are? Rant inside

I need to get this off my chest because I'm still angry about it. Last month I paid a company to inspect a 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero I was considering in Sharjah. The guy came, spent maybe 20 minutes looking at the car, didn't put it on a lift (just crawled underneath with a flashlight), and sent me a report that basically said "car is in fair condition" with no photos and no details. I asked him about the transmission because these Pajeros can have issues, and he said "felt fine during the test drive." That's it. No scan tool, no compression test, nothing. I paid 300 dirhams for basically nothing. I ended up walking away from that car because I didn't trust the inspection. Now I'm looking at a 2018 Pajero again, and I want to do it right this time. I've been searching for pre purchase car inspection experts dubai who actually take their time and use proper equipment. I want someone who will put the car on a lift, scan the computer for pending codes, check for fluid leaks, test the 4WD system, and take photos of everything. I don't care if it costs more. I'm so tired of these fly by night inspectors who promise the world and deliver a glorified test drive. Has anyone found a company that actually does a thorough job? I'm willing to drive the car anywhere in Dubai or even Abu Dhabi for a real inspection. Please share your experiences with specific companies that impressed you, not just generic recommendations. Thanks for letting me rant.
