Why is my phone not ringing when someone calls me?

If your phone not ringing during incoming calls, a few common settings might be causing the issue. First, make sure that your phone is not set to silent mode or Do Not Disturb, which can turn the phone off to calls altogether. Make sure also that the volume of the ringtone is switched to high in the sound settings. In some cases, incoming calls may be interrupted by call forwarding, Bluetooth or third-party applications. Temporary glitches can also be fixed by rebooting the phone. In case the problem persists, see whether there are system updates available or change network settings because old software or network problems can lead to the inability to make normal call alerts.
